A BRIEF HISTORY OF ST. LOUIS SOCIAL CLUBSTLSC is the result of a merger between two Meetup groups, St. Louis Singles Outdoor Adventure Group and SWAGS (Singles Wanting Adventure and Group Activities).
Founded on Valentine's Day of 2017 by Terry Boone, SLSOAG grew to become one of the largest Meetup groups by membership in the St. Louis area. After 5 years as Head Organizer, Terry stepped aside in the Spring of 2022, turning over the reins to long-time Assistant Organizer, Daniel Moses.
Meanwhile, SWAGS was conceived in January of 2020. Its founder and Head Organizer for nearly 3 years, Robin, passed the torch to one of her most active Assistant Organizers, Morton Todd, in the Fall of 2022.
A year later, Daniel and Morton decided to join forces and create a Meetup "supergroup", St. Louis Social Club!
